0.6 lb Ground Beef
5 Savoy Cabbage Leaves
2 cloves Garlic
1 Green Onion
1 Egg
1 Crimini Mushroom
0.5 pack Firm Tofu
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Ponzu Sauce
Green Onion
Sesame Seeds

Cook it step by step

Method

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a generous pinch of salt.

Dice the mushroom and green onion into fine pieces.

Use a cheesecloth to strain the liquid from the tofu.

Combine ground beef, tofu, green onion, mushroom, egg, and soy sauce in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Blanch cabbage leaves in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then rinse in cold water.

Assemble each dumpling by rolling 2 tablespoons of filling in each cabbage leaf.

Steam assembled cabbage dumplings for 8-12 minutes.

Serve and garnish with ponzu sauce, green onion, sesame seeds, and togarashi.
