2 lb Ribeye or Sirloin Steak, Sliced Into Strips
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Soy Sauce
Salt and Pepper To Taste
Smoked Provolone Cheese
Avocado Oil For Searing
Brioche Buns
3 medium -3 Medium Yellow Onions, Sliced
1 tsp Granulated Sugar
Heaping Pinch of Salt
8 tbsp Unsalted Butter

5 Garlic Cloves, Minced

1 Shallot, Minced

1/2 Lemon, Freshly Squeezed

1 tbsp Dijon Mustard

1 Heaping Tbsp Parsley, Chopped

1 Heaping Tbsp Chives, Chopped

1 tsp Thyme

1 tsp Cayenne Powder

1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes

1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika

Salt To Taste

1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, Melted

2 tbsp Parsley, Freshly Chopped

1 Heaping Tsp Garlic Powder

Cook it step by step

Method

Toss sliced steak with soy sauce, Worcestershire, garlic powder, and a generous amount of salt & pepper. Set aside.

Heat a skillet over medium heat with a little oil or butter. Add onions, sugar, and salt. Cook until soft and golden.

Crank heat to medium-high and sear steak in a single layer for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

Add butter to the same pan, then add garlic and shallot, cooking until fragrant.

Stir in lemon juice, Dijon, parsley, chives, thyme, cayenne, chili flakes, smoked paprika, and salt. Add steak back to the pan and toss to coat.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Layer the bottom halves of brioche buns with cheese, caramelized onions, cooked steak, and more cheese.

Place top halves of buns on top, cover with foil, and bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted.

Remove foil, brush with garlic butter, and bake uncovered for an additional 4–5 minutes until buns are golden.

Brush with more garlic butter and serve warm.
